Chestnut erupts XXI - 21st Kastanjefeest
Ongetwijfeld het belangrijkste evenement van de stad
Arcidosso dat het afgelopen jaar duizenden toeristen uit heel U.S. aantrok.
Tijdens deze twee weekends zijn er conferenties en ontmoetingen,
kan het publiek "cellars" ( "kelders" van de stad) bezoeken, producten proeven die met zijn kastanjes bereid (zoals brood, koek en het beroemde kastanjebier wordt dat hier gebrouwd); begeleiding onder een kijkje nemen in de "seccatoi" waar de kastanjes worden gedroogd na de oogst en beroepen uitoefenen zien die (bijna) tot het verleden behoren. Het geheel wordt opgeluisterd met muziek van ons fanfarekorps, modeshows,
antiekmarkten, straatartiesten en optredens in de Middeleeuwse stadsburcht "Rocca Aldobrandesca."

Met plaatselijke producten (proeven!) In de kelders, een kunstmarkt,
de olijfoliemolen (mill), een oude broodoven, een timmermanschuur,
muziek en straatartiesten.

"Christmas together" (Samen kerstmis vieren): Concerten in het Teatro degli Unanimi met
het plaatselijke koor "Choral G. Verdi "en het fanfarecorps" Banda Folkloristica for Rallegrar the Gentiles. " At Via Cavour tentoonstelling van een kerststallen. Oud en Nieuw worden op de markt gevierd en zijn er tentoonstellingen in de Rocca
Aldobrandesco. Het nieuwe jaar wordt traditioneel begroet met brandende stapels hout her die en der worden in de stad opgebouwd, de traditionele kerstspelen "bingo" en "panforte" en
de markt "Capercio." Straatartiesten en vermaak voor de allerkleinsten. De Befana (Kerstheks) daalt af van de Rocca Aldobrandesca
met de hulp van de brandweer van Arcidosso. De Wijzen uit het Oosten maken hun opwacht in Piazza Cavallotti.
Met plaatselijke producten om te proeven.
